The Government has entrusted Sat Pal Bhanoo, Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the financial and administrative powers and functions of the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO & MD) of the Corporation for three months with effect from June 08, 2025.
The aforementioned interim role is up to September 07, 2025, or till assumption of charge of the post by the regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest, per a Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, notification.
Bhanoo has been assigned the financial and administrative powers and functions of CEO & MD of the Corporation following completion of the term of Siddhartha Mohanty as CEO & MD.
